01

Who is responsible

This website is operated under the artist name Nick Vilo. It is primarily a showroom for photographic and artistic work, not an online shop or booking service.

For questions about the website or the handling of your personal information, contact Nick Vilo through the contact form. This is also the contact route for privacy requests.

02

When you browse

Cloudflare hosts and delivers this website and provides security services. Connection information, including your IP address, browser information and requested resources, is processed to deliver the pages and protect the service.

This website does not use analytics or advertising cookies. The portfolio images, fonts and styles are served as part of the website. This website does not embed social-media feeds.

If you use the theme switch, your chosen light or dark appearance is saved locally in your browser under nv-theme. This functional preference remains until you change it or clear your browser storage; it is not used for analytics or sent with your enquiry.

03

When you get in touch

The contact form collects your name, email address and message, together with the submitted consent indication. This information is used to receive and respond to your enquiry.

Your submission is routed through Cloudflare and stored in a private, self-hosted enquiry inbox. A private notification alerts the operator to new submissions.

Please avoid including sensitive personal information that is not needed to answer your enquiry.

04

Keeping the form safe

Cloudflare can set the security cookie cf_clearance when protecting pages against automated abuse. It records a passed security check, not advertising preferences. Blocking security cookies in your browser may prevent protected functions from working.

Only the contact form loads Cloudflare Turnstile to distinguish visitors from automated abuse. Turnstile processes technical signals such as IP address, browser headers, TLS fingerprint and the website origin. Its optional pre-clearance and ephemeral-identifier features are disabled for this form.

Cloudflare processes these signals to provide protection and, under its own privacy terms, to improve bot detection. Security processing still occurs even though this website does not use analytics or advertising cookies.

Details are available in Cloudflare’s Turnstile Privacy Addendum and Cookie Policy.

05

Services & locations

The enquiry inbox is self-hosted. Cloudflare, Inc. is a United States-based provider operating an international network. Website traffic and submissions pass through its services, so processing is not limited to Switzerland.

Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy identifies the United States and the European Economic Area as its primary information-storage regions, with transfer and access possible in other countries where the Cloudflare group operates. Its published terms describe its international-transfer safeguards; this website does not promise a Switzerland-only or Europe-only processing region.

Further information: Cloudflare Privacy Policy, Data Processing Addendum and sub-processor information.

06

How long information stays

Submissions are stored in the private enquiry inbox for correspondence and follow-up. Deletion is managed manually; there is currently no automatic expiry period.

You can request deletion through the contact form. Applicable retention obligations may limit immediate deletion. Backup copies can remain until they are replaced through the normal backup rotation.

07

Your information. Your rights.

You can ask about the personal information processed about you and request correction or deletion, subject to applicable law. Depending on the applicable law, you may also have rights to object, restrict processing, receive a copy of your data or withdraw consent where processing relies on it.

Use the contact form and indicate that your message concerns privacy. Please provide only the information needed to identify the relevant correspondence. You can also raise concerns with the competent data protection authority, including the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner.
